A lifelong music obsessive and one-time punk guitarist - Derek turned his increasingly arthritic hand to house and techno about a decade ago in order to continue getting his musical fix.
Until recently this was very much for his own amusement and he shared very little of the output. That all changed, however, following a chance encounter with the Ever Amazing, Ever Spectacular podcaster Spider Dan. This meeting (of somewhat left-field minds) led to the creation of ‘Teddy Bears Picnic of Blood and Carnage’ – a phat slab of techno/electro house which samples the various musings of Dan and his guests such as Maff, Angry Andy, Tonya Todd & Ria Carrogan among others. If demand is sufficient, there will be much more music to come!
